1. Purpose

These Terms govern your use of the game "Boss Toss" (the "Service") provided by Storm of Madness (광기의 폭풍) ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to them.

2. About the Service

1. The Service is an online co-op action game distributed through Steam.
2. It is currently a free demo and playtest. Features, numbers, and data may change without notice before the full release.
3. We do not guarantee that account data created during the demo (appearance, communication loadout, etc.) will carry over to the full release.

3. Accounts

1. You sign in with your Steam account. We do not create separate passwords.
2. You are responsible for your Steam account. Do not sell, lend, or share it.
3. Your nickname and profile image are visible to other players. We may change or restrict names that impersonate others or are offensive.
4. You must be at least 14 years old to use the Service.

4. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• use cheats, memory or packet tampering, macros, or anything else that bypasses game rules or server checks;
• knowingly and repeatedly exploit bugs or design gaps, or spread methods to do so;
• harass, demean, or discriminate against other players;
• spam or abuse pings, stickers, emotes, chat, or other communication features to disrupt others (see Section 4A);
• overload or attack our servers or network, including distributed attacks and abnormal automated connections;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or extract non-public data from the Service, except as the law allows;
• break the law or act against public order.

4A. Communication features and word filtering

1. The Service offers communication features such as pings, stickers, and emotes. Text chat and similar features may be added later. The rules below apply to each feature from the moment it becomes available.
2. Do not send abusive language, hate or discriminatory speech, sexual or violent content, personal information, ads, or scams.
3. When we offer text communication, we may automatically replace profanity and hateful terms with other text (for example ***) or block the message. Filters are imperfect: a message that is not filtered is not necessarily allowed.
4. You may hide or block other players' messages (when the feature is available).

4B. Reports and enforcement

1. You can report a player who breaks these rules through the in-game report feature (when available) or at stormofmadness01@naver.com.
2. We review the report, automatic filter results, and server records to decide whether a violation occurred.
3. If a violation is confirmed, we may issue a warning, temporarily restrict communication features, suspend access for a period, or permanently suspend access, depending on severity and repetition. Conduct that seriously harms fairness, such as cheating, may lead to immediate suspension.
4. We will tell you the reason for an action where reasonably possible. You can appeal at stormofmadness01@naver.com.

5. Rights

1. We or our licensors own the Service and everything in it, including software, graphics, audio, and text.
2. We grant you a non-exclusive right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
3. We may store and display your nickname and similar content as needed to run the Service.
4. You may record and share gameplay, including streams and videos, as long as you do not distort facts to damage our reputation.

6. Changes and discontinuation

1. We may change, suspend, or end all or part of the Service to improve it or for operational reasons.
2. The Service may be interrupted by maintenance, outages, force majeure, or failures of external services such as Steam.
3. If we end the Service we will announce it in advance through announcements on the Steam store page (https://store.steampowered.com/app/5379410/Boss_Toss_Demo/). Because the Service is free, in urgent cases we may announce afterwards.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

1. The Service is a demo/playtest and is provided "as is". We do not guarantee fitness for a particular purpose, freedom from errors, or uninterrupted availability.
2. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the free Service unless caused by our intent or gross negligence.
3. We are not liable for damages caused by your own acts (such as account sharing or cheating) or by failures of external services.
4. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these Terms

1. We may change these Terms. We will give notice in the game or at announcements on the Steam store page (https://store.steampowered.com/app/5379410/Boss_Toss_Demo/) at least 7 days before the change takes effect, and at least 30 days for changes that are unfavorable to you.
2. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept it. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and you may ask us to delete your account.
3. Each new version has a new version number, and the game may ask you to accept it again.

10. Governing law

1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2. Disputes are handled by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence still apply where they cannot be waived.
